When 4:energy began rapidly expanding its PV portfolio in 2022, one thing was clear: it needed professional Monitoring to meet the requirements of modern, scalable O&M. Existing solutions – several manufacturer portals and traditional operator software – only covered parts of the workflow, offered hardly any automation, and required a lot of manual work. A central overview of all plants/assets was completely missing.
The goal was O&M software that provides a scalable foundation – including automated ticketing, master data, central lifecycle records, data integrity, and IT security.
Three key results
Time savings in alarm handling thanks to minute-by-minute data analysis — Excel is a thing of the past. With a custom-configured alarm system, faults are now detected every minute. The integration of a ticketing system provides a structured overview of all alarms and enables fast processing.
Automatic capture of curtailments — Curtailments are automatically recorded in Amperecloud Platform and documented directly in tickets. A monthly overview simplifies analysis and eliminates the need for manual calculations.
