Before Amperecloud, Greenovative worked with a highly fragmented IT infrastructure made up of various free manufacturer software tools. Numerous portals had to be maintained and data manually consolidated in Excel; precise analysis – for example of combined inverter data – was hardly possible.
Minor faults often went unnoticed because data was only visualized in 5‑minute intervals. Curtailments had to be downloaded for each plant individually and calculated manually. The heterogeneous system landscape also made it difficult to onboard new employees.
